Welcome back to the PressReady blog! This week, we’d like to recap on the PressReady event that took place last week here in Nashville. Our cofounders Suki Mulberg Altamirano and Liz Anthony held a workshop at the Nashville Entrepreneurship Center to discuss building your personal brand, pitching to the media, and more to a room full of Nashville-based entrepreneurs.
The workshop was a real power hour, giving attendees plenty of time to ask questions about pitching to outlets specific to their industry. From publishing to photography to music, there were entrepreneurs from all walks of life present at the event.
“It was great to get to know more members of the EC and talk about how PressReady’s pitch kits and tools help small businesses like theirs find their story, build their narrative and share it with everyone from investors to the media to consumers,” said Altamirano. “PressReady was designed specifically to help startups and small businesses succeed in growing their brand recognition and their businesses!”
Anthony agrees, saying “It was amazing to fly in from New York to visit the EC and get to meet some of the entrepreneurs in Nashville. I think we provided them with lots of pointers they can take with them going forward in their respective industries.”
